Proud Partner in the Mohmand Dam Project for the supply and deployment of Komatsu Machines

The Mohmand Dam construction has commenced; being built on the Swat River in the Mohmand District, KPK. The project involves construction of a dam and an integrated powerhouse. Work started in September 2019 and is expected to be completed by May 2025.

It will be a concrete faced rock-filled dam, 213 meters in height, and will have live storage of 676,000 acre feet.

Once the Dam is built, it is expected to produce 800 MW of electricity, help irrigate over 16,500 acres of new land, provide 300 million gallons per day of drinking water to the city of Peshawar and help minimize the flooding of Nowshera, Peshawar, Charsada and the surrounding areas.

Several machines are deployed on this project supplied by our Machinery Division, including the recently supplied 12 units of brand new Komatsu machines to DESCON Engineering;
