“New & novel IBR insecticide having marvelous broad-spectrum activities and outstanding crop safety”

Product Category: Insecticide
Active ingredient: Pyrifluquinazon
Chemical group: Insect Behaviour Regulator {Group-9B} {Chordotonal Organ TRPV Channel Modulator}
Formulation: Available in WG Formulation (water-dispersible granule) with 20% w/w concentration

Mode of Action:

  • New & novel Mode of action
  • Matoi binds to and disrupt the gating of the Nan-Iav TRPV (Transient Receptor Potential Vanilloid) channel complexes in insect chordotonal stretch receptor organs. Chordotonal stretch receptor organs are critical for the senses of hearing, gravity, balance, acceleration, proprioception, and kinesthesia. Matoi overstimulates the stretch receptors resulting in disruption of insect feeding, coordination, and flight impairment. Treated insects stop feeding rapidly and die from starvation and dehydration.
