JBS Proudly Supports TiECon 2008
Following the success of Tiecon 2007, this year too JBS was delighted to sponsor TiEcon 2008 that was held on May 8, 2008 at Karachi Sheraton Hotels and Towers.
Building on last year’s theme, “Lighting the Fire”, theme for TiEcon 2008 was “The Time is Now”.
It was a full day conference that was attended by around 400 aspiring and established entrepreneurs. The conference was structured towards four main areas that include story telling by successful entrepreneurs, business plan presentation by aspiring entrepreneurs, open mic sessions and networking breaks.
TiEcon 2008 heard success stories of commitment, diligence, and luck of the following entrepreneurs:

In a round that was tailored for aspiring entrepreneurs to present their business plans, a group of two fresh business graduates outshine others with their business plan to launch a home repair system. The plan was appreciated very well and the investors shown willingness to fund this plan.
The round of open mic, where the audience was given the opportunity to pitch in their business ideas in just one minute, stole the show and it was invigorating to see that Pakistan is blessed with so much talent.
From the JBS side, Miss Afshan Khan, Mr.Kazim Raza and Mr.Tariq Mehmood participated in the event.
