JBL Cricket Team, Often termed as Team Jaffer, came out as runners up after an enthralling game of cricket at UBL ground Karachi. Playing the finals of Danial Trophy, Season II, Jaffer were head on head with PICT, which stacked up a total of 186 leaving Team Jaffer to chase 187. Chasing the total, Team Jaffer suffered from early blows which left them bruised with 63/4 at a stage but then managed to cling on the a respectable total of 146 in the allocated overs. The highlight of the second innings was 50-ball-66 from middle order batsman Mukkarram Waheed, who changed the matched and kept the intrest alive till the end. |
