and indenting business.
The business landscape is changing – complex organizational structure, rapid globalization,
new regulations and innovations require a continued and careful analysis of the
businesses and formulation of strategies at the group level.
Strategy development and its execution have become a continuous and not a periodic
process, based on rapid and effective decision making at all levels.
Keeping the above in mind, JBL management established an independent department
for Strategy, Planning and Diversification (SPD) in January 2007. An elemental and
pioneering role is being played by SPD to facilitate the Group as well as the business
divisions in their long-term strategic planning and further diversification into
related industries. Group Corporate Strategic Plan 2020 is developed and is being
implemented.
