Job Description: |
Mathematics and Physical Science degree / B. Sc. Quantity Surveying or equivalent with at least 5-7 years of related experience in the construction industry and good analytical thinking and problem solving attributes.
The Quantity Surveyor will be required to:
• Preparing estimates, feasibility studies and budgets for building projects
• Preparing bills of quantities, contract documentation and tender documentation for competitive tendering for projects
• Negotiate with other consultants such as architects, engineers and control and manage contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers
• Monitoring and reporting on project cost.
• Prepare property valuations mainly for insurance purpose
• Concluding contracts on completion of projects.
