Main Properties:
Topgun is an insect growth regulator effective against many species of Lepidopteran insects, making it ideal for integrated pest management & insecticides Resistance Management (IPM) program.
Topgun a new active ingredient is an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) in the chemical family benzoic acid hydrazide.

Mode of Action:
Topgun has a novel mode of action in that it mimics the action of the insect molting hormone, ecdysone, in larval Lepidoptera (caterpillars), by initiating an unsuccessful (lethal) molt in the larvae. Larvae stop feeding within hours of ingestion of a toxic dose; death occurs in three to seven days.

Formulation:
Topgun is an SC formulation with 20% W/V concentration.

Method of Application:

• Apply at the initiations of egg hatch. This product needs to be ingested to be effective, and applied before significant feeding damage occurs.
